SEVENDUST: First-Week Sales Projected; Footage From Signing Session Available
April 5, 2008According to Hits Daily Double (the companion web site of music industry tip sheet HITS),SEVENDUST' new album, "Chapter VII: Hope & Sorrow" (7Bros/Asylum),is poised to sell between 35,000 and 40,000 copies in the United States during its first week of release. This is rougly in line with the opening number of its predecessor, "Alpha", which registered a first-week tally of 42,000 copies in March 2007 to debut at position No. 14 on The Billboard 200 chart.
The five original members of SEVENDUST were in the studio on Tuesday (April 1) with Chris Williams, Program Director and PMD, on WKLS/Project 9-6-1 Atlanta, for the first interview and pictures of the reunited lineup. SEVENDUST talked about having guitarist Clint Lowery back in the band, Clint's time with KORN, dropping off the Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival tour, and the recent damages to the Tabernacle in Atlanta.

SEVENDUST has announced the details of its spring tour, which will kick off on April 9 in Port St. Lucie, Florida. SALIVA, NEVERSET, and OVERSCENE will be on the tour for the first leg, which runs through May 3 in South Bend, Indiana. BLACK STONE CHERRY will join the trek May 4-17.
